F.A.Q have been edited and changed.

If you are or have been using a layout from us on or before Thursday, June 7th, 2007 and have replaced images or customized them with your own, you may leave it as such. For new users, I have requested that this practice be stopped.

I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you can understand.

Going to update entry on how to install s1 overrides to include s2 pasting of CSS soon.

Welcome to CDesigns!

CDesigns is a community offering free layouts for live journals using the s1 (old system) overrides and s2. On occasion, CDesigns may offer random graphics for use in a live journal, such as, but not limited to: headers, banners, buttons, and backgrounds made by elf_fu

I do not take requests, however I will from time to time ask for suggestions to keep the creative juices flowing.

The layouts are offered to members , and posts are also friends locked. This is just a simplistic way to see how the layouts are being used and ensure a bit of common courtesy when it comes to proper crediting and use. If you'd like to see our layouts, all you have to do is join:)

If you take a layout please remember to comment to the layout's entry if you take (even if you don't use, it's just nice to ;) and please do not remove the credit to brushmakers/css template makers/layout makers!

Thank you for dropping by, and I hope you enjoy the layouts! :)

I have found a wonderful image that I'd like to make a layout around. The issue is, is that I don't know who made the image or where it came from so that I can credit it properly.

I'd like to know before I go ahead and change size, edit, ect. If you recognize it, could you please, please let me know who created it? :) Thanks!

New s2 layout based on Flexible Squares. If any of you are interested on where I got the CSS style sheet and cheat sheet on how to customize things, feel free to visit s2flexisquares and check out irinafan's post on CSS for Flexible Squares.

The background and entry tops came from The inspiration Gallery, header banner is yours truly.

I highly recommend visiting these links!

I'm currently learning how to work with s2 Smooth Sailing. I've managed to learn a bit about the CSS to start to feel comfortable in what I am doing.

I will be doing a few layouts for s2 Smooth sailing in the next few weeks and hopefully will have a few to upload. This means that I will also have to create a F.A.Q for s2 layouts and amend a few things here and there.

As for Paid, s2 layer customizations, I am still not yet confident enough to be offering those to anyone.

Like I said --This comm's not dead! I'm just slow! :)
